Vineyard Tour, Wine-Tasting and Three-Course Traditional Piedmont Lunch
Visit the Avezza family, who have tended their vineyards since 1956 and have passed the passion for viniculture on with each generation. Now, winemaker Paolo Avezza continues to innovate on Piedmontese winemaking tradition, producing two of Italy’s newest and most exciting DOCGs: Nizza and Alta Langa. Intense, fresh, and elegant red wines, Nizza DOCG represents the pinnacle of Barbera winemaking. Alta Langa DOCG produces classic-method sparkling wines, making for a fascinating Piedmontese answer to the wines of Champagne. The stunning residence will host you for a three-course traditional Piedmontese lunch, with wine pairings made from the very same vines in sight.

The captivating town of Alba, known as the “Capital of the Langhe”, is a centre for the region’s famous gastronomy. The home of Ferrero Rocher, the finest of wines, the world-famous Piedmont hazelnut and of course the Alba white truffle. The International Alba White Truffle Fair is an annual highlight, with hunters and vendors displaying their prized finds for purchase. This medieval town center is beautifully preserved with a great atmosphere. Explore the old streets, piazza, and landmarks like the Cathedral of San Lorenzo, stopping for coffee, pastries, grappa, or chocolate along the way.
