About this product

Think light-on-its-feet Barolo. Rose petals, pomegranate, and leather are framed with approachable tannins and excellent balance. Enjoyable now, and highly suitable for additional aging.

Fermentation
After a slow maceration, this regal blend spends 24 months in large casks and tonneaux to soften and develop its complexities
Pairings
Braised veal, roasted beef, pork, and game meats pair beautifully, as do decadent dishes of truffle, bacon and root vegetable.
The Vintage
An exceptional vintage, with generous snowmelt that gave moisture deep in the soil to keep the vines healthy during a hot summer and long, mild harvest. This wine is only bottled in exceptional years.
