About this product

Small batch and bottled non-chill filtered, Maharani explodes on your nose and palate with the vibrancy of pomelo, the warmth of cassia bark, the punch of whole nutmeg, and the alluring complexity of mace. Generous notes of juniper, coriander, rosemary, black pepper, star anise, and cardamon add additional layers of flavor to the full, creamy texture. Note the fine, dancing ribbons of essential oils when adding ice.

Pairings
The queen of grapefruit, the seductive pomelo, is the standout flavor in this gin, giving it an aromatic quality that pairs beautifully with blue cheese, shellfish, and peppery greens. We recommend a pairing of a 50 / 50 Martini (equal parts gin and blanc vermouth) with a grapefruit, lobster, and avocado salad. Or try a combination of blue cheese, grapefruit, red onion, and arugula paired with a refreshing Maharani gin and tonic. For an elegant canapé pairing, Maharani gin neat, or over ice with a twist, delivers a decadent note of citrus when combined with fresh oysters.

Botanicals macerated in wheat spirit, then single distilled in a 230-L Müller copper pot still. Fermentation base: Soft red winter wheat

Cassia bark, whole mace nutmeg, and fresh pomelo produced organically by local farmers and the Vanamoolika women’s cooperative in Kerala, India, and sustainably sourced green cardamom, juniper, orris, lemon peel, and coriander from Italy.
