Alba Royal Truffles was born out of a shared passion between three friends – Walter, Beppe and Andrea – for truffles, their territory, fine food and wine. As with their fathers and grandfathers, Walter, Beppe and Andrea began to hunt truffles when they were children. Over the years, this passion has grown so much that they are now fully committed to finding and sharing this most precious of gifts from the land: the truffle.
While all truffles are valuable, the Piemontese town of Alba is the epicenter of the most renowned truffle territory in the world. Growing wild, deep in the surrounding forests of the Langhe, these rare tubers can only be unearthed by professional truffle hunters with their highly trained dogs. Every fall, the culinary world eagerly awaits the brief season of the Alba white truffle (tuber magnatum pico) – the rarest and most cherished of all truffles.
Today, Alba Royal Truffles provide a range of specialty truffle products and fresh truffles to Michelin-starred chefs, renowned restaurateurs – and exclusively to Adya Global for the US market.
