On the palate, a smooth, soft sparkle, with toasted malt, hazelnuts, blackberries, kiwi and fig roll. The finish is long, warm, and spicy, with pepper and citrus zest. Gently cut over 5 to 6 weeks, not chill filtered, not colored. Wayward Spirits’ small batch blending is a collaborative process between their team of 3 blenders, bringing together John’sdecades of classic scotch perspective, Julia’s extensive knowledge of world whiskey, and Maurice’s determination to create something approachable and flavorful.
