Fruity and aromatic.
As a Vigneron Indépendant of grower champagne, Philippe Dechelle outsource nothing. Only the first pressing (cuvée) is used, meaning 4,000kg of grapes produces only 106 cases of champagne. Old-vine estate Pinot Noir brings sumptuous notes of red plum and fraises de bois. The champagne is just as at home on the beach as on an elegant table setting. Elevates red- wine dishes without losing its playful character.
Visual: A pale, radiant pink, with glints of gold. Nose: A light, elegant flavour. A fresh finish with raspberry. Flavor: A subtle aroma leads to an elegant bouquet of red berries.
Considered one of the best recent vintages, giving ripe grapes with excellent flavor and balance. The wines are complex, expressive, and age-worthy, with a good balance of fruit and acidity.
