Select Late Harvest production in Canada refers to the second pressing of our estate icewine grapes. After the first pressing, the ice begins to melt, resulting in a lighter bodied wine, while maintaining a similar flavor profile to the icewine. This wine has a light straw color in the glass, and moderate viscosity. The nose shows notes of mango, peaches in syrup, and pineapple. The palate is medium sweet, not cloying, and with flavors of ripe pear, golden delicious apple, peach, and pineapple, finishing clean, and with refreshing acidity.
Aromatic, mineral, and lively, with light citrus and floral notes. The palate is dry, and supported with crisp acidity, giving a fresh, lively mouth feel. Citrus flavors dominate the palate, with lemon, lime, orange, and grapefruit characters all evident. Finishes on a floral note, with hints of freshly sliced green apple.
A classic blend of estate-grown Cabernet and Merlot, this wine is approachable, while also being well structured. The nose features aromas of dark cherry, raspberry jam, red plum, licorice, and black pepper, along with nutmeg, toast, and vanilla. These traits repeat on the palates with soft tannins, a smooth texture, and wonderful balance between fruit and oak.
A classic cool-climate wine, this vintage of estate Gewurztraminer-Riesling showcases aromatics of green apple, lychee, pink grapefruit, and rose petal. The palate builds on the charming aromatics, with the addition of Mayuka honey, ripe peach, tangerine, grilled pineapple, ginger, and passion fruit. Bright acid alongside ripe, sweet heirloom pear, and exotic fruit in this off-dry wine creates a beautifully balanced palate, suitable to a wide variety of food pairings.
