About this product

Aromatic, mineral, and lively, with light citrus and floral notes. The palate is dry, and supported with crisp acidity, giving a fresh, lively mouth feel. Citrus flavors dominate the palate, with lemon, lime, orange, and grapefruit characters all evident. Finishes on a floral note, with hints of freshly sliced green apple.

Fermentation
Long, cool fermentation with skin contact in stainless steel at 15°C (59°F) for three weeks
Pairings
This is a light, fresh, crisp wine, best enjoyed on its own, or with light meals or snacks, like hummus, grilled veggies, seasonal salads, fruit, grilled chicken, and all manner of seafood. It is the perfect wine for escaping into a long conversation with friends, or to enhance picnic fare without the fret of what is supposed to go with what.
The Vintage
The year 2020 will be remembered for many things—few of them good—but if you are an Ontario wine lover, it is your silver lining. While most people spent the year hunkered down indoors, Mother Nature was unfolding quietly and without drama in the vineyards across the Pillitteri Estate. It rained when it needed to rain, was dry when it needed to be dry, the days were sunny, the nights cool, the harvest mild. Enjoy the fruits of this fine vintage.
